Creating your own Blends

Something that is so common in our Essential Oil "culture" is to venture out and to create something of our own. We all love to do it, right?! We love to put our own spin on recipes, create our favorite blends, and it is so rewarding when we succeed. As you introduce people to Essential Oils, we want to help them experience this too! A great way to help beginners feel confident enough to create their own blends is to hold a class, and show them!
For our class idea today, we are highlighting our "Using Essential Oils, a Beginner's Guide" booklet, which includes these three recipes. As was shown on our Instagram a few days ago (follow us here!), if you order over 100 booklets you can get 20% off- only $0.99 each!
Also as a special feature today, we also wanted to show you that you can get 10% off 1/4 and 5/8 Dram Sample Vials when you buy our Beginner’s Guide + Sample Vials Kit. How great is that?! The basic kit comes with 50 booklets, and 144 vials (you choose the size), caps, and orifice reducers.
So let's get started!
Add essential oils to a 10 ml roller bottle (as pictured), then fill the bottle with fractionated coconut oil (FCO), or carrier oil of choice.
Breathe Easy

• 5 drops Respiratory blend
• 5 drops lime
Apply to chest.

Sleepy Time

• 5 drops lavender
• 5 drops cedarwood
Apply to feet and chest.

Tummy Tamer

• 5 drops peppermint
• 5 drops ginger
Apply to tummy!
Label and use your remedy. Enjoy!

*These recipes are meant for a 10 ml, but you could scale it back for any other size.

So what do you think? Are you going to use this at your next class? Tell us below in the comments!

I have always loved sharing our oils in rollers as I feel it’s one of the easiest ways to introduce them and their proper use to other’s. I myself love carrying them this way when on the go too.
I am hoping you might be able to offer in the future, labels for some of the more commonly used blends, like the “breathe easy” and “tummy tamer”, and all those in the “Make and Take” kit, for the smaller sized roller’s. I’d like to share more of that size, but either have to crop the larger labels, or attempt to make one of my own when using the small bottles.
Anyway, I love this site and will keep using and sharing it. It’s the best out there and I think that’s because it has been created and maintained by those who do what we as Wellness Advocates are doing! Thank you Katie!!
